About me

Hello!

I build systems for ideas that refuse to stay quiet.

AI workflows. Growth experiments. Product concepts. Half-finished thoughts that keep returning at 2 AM.

Hi, I'm Derya.

I started my career in words.

First as an editor, then as an editor-in-chief, then somewhere inside the machinery of digital marketing, brand communication and growth. Over time, the questions changed. It was no longer only "What should we say?" but also "How does this system work?", "Where does the user get lost?", "What can be automated?", and "Why is this spreadsheet quietly threatening civilization?"

That path eventually led me to AI.

Today, I work somewhere between marketing, growth strategy, AI systems, workflow design, product thinking and creative execution. I like problems with too many tabs open. Messy funnels. Half-built ideas. Manual processes pretending to be harmless. Campaigns that need structure. Tools that could be smarter if someone connected the dots.

Most of my projects still start with small, strange questions:

  • What if unfinished ideas had a recovery center?
  • What if anxiety worked like a dashboard?
  • What if bad decisions left footprints?
  • What if a workflow could remove the boring part without removing the human part?

I turn abstract thoughts into experiments, tools, workflows and systems people can actually interact with.

Part strategist.

Part builder.

Part editor of chaos.

Part archive keeper for ideas that refused to disappear.

I'm interested in AI, data, digital marketing, human behavior, science fiction, mythology, fantasy and the suspiciously large number of scenarios where aliens, dragons, zombies or sentient software could improve a product metaphor.

I'm also an amateur astronomer, a hobbyist visual maker, and someone who enjoys digital illustration, graphic design and stop-motion experiments when the planets, deadlines and cats allow it.

I'm currently exploring the intersection of artificial intelligence, creativity, automation and product thinking through continuous learning and practical experimentation.

And yes, when the robots eventually take over the world, I plan to be on their side.

Not because I lack loyalty to humanity.

Mostly because I have already spent too much time teaching machines how to behave, and I would like that relationship to remain cordial.

Also, I can communicate with cats.

Scientific validation is still pending.

Let's build something slightly unusual!

My Working Stack

A practical stack for building AI-assisted workflows, growth systems, websites, dashboards and creative assets without turning every project into a software graveyard.

AI & Automation

ChatGPT · Claude · Perplexity · Google AI Studio · n8n · Make · Airtable · Apify

I design AI-assisted workflows, automation architecture, prompt systems, API-based integrations, JSON-structured data flows and lead enrichment systems that reduce manual work and make operations more scalable.

Data & Analytics

GA4 · Looker Studio · Tableau · Firebase · Mixpanel · Amplitude · Statsig · Hotjar · SQL · Google Tag Manager

I build funnels, dashboards, cohort views, attribution setups and experiment tracking systems that turn scattered signals into decisions.

Web & No-Code

Framer · Webflow · WordPress · Shopify · Lovable · Noloco · AWS Lightsail · Google Cloud

Landing pages, CMS structures, ecommerce flows, client portals and product prototypes without a six-week dev sprint.

Growth & GTM Systems

Meta Ads · Google Ads · Apple Search Ads · LinkedIn Ads · TikTok Ads · Clay · Apollo.io · HubSpot · Customer.io · Klaviyo · Mailchimp

Full-funnel campaign strategy, audience targeting, prospecting systems, attribution setup and lifecycle flows that compound over time.

Creative & Content Systems

Figma · Illustrator · Photoshop · Canva · Copy.ai · Jasper · Premiere Pro · After Effects · Final Cut Pro · LottieFiles

Brand systems, campaign visuals, social content, pitch materials and AI-assisted creative direction.

How I Work

  1. 01 Observe

I find the signal behind the noise.

    • I map goals, audience behavior and growth bottlenecks.
    • I look for patterns others usually scroll past.
    • I define what success should actually mean.
  2. 02 Strategize

I turn messy ideas into clear direction.

    • I build growth roadmaps, content angles and channel logic.
    • I connect AI, storytelling and business goals.
    • I keep the strategy sharp enough to survive real life.
  3. 03 Build

I make the thing work, not just sound clever.

    • I create workflows, experiments and growth systems.
    • I use AI and no-code where they make sense.
    • I ship, test and iterate before the idea becomes office furniture.
  4. 04 Scale

I let data argue with my assumptions.

    • I track performance, learn fast and optimize the system.
    • I turn wins into repeatable growth loops.
    • I keep improving until the system runs without me.

[05] — FAQ

Got Questions?

01/ What kind of problems do I solve?

Growth bottlenecks. Broken workflows. Ideas that sound brilliant in meetings but collapse in real life. I like turning noise into systems, experiments and usable next steps.

02/ What do I enjoy building?

AI workflows, cognitive tools, growth experiments and strange little products that make messy thinking visible. Basically: if an idea keeps scratching the door at 2 AM, I probably want to prototype it.

03/ How do I work with AI?

I use AI as a thinking partner, workflow engine and creative amplifier. Not to replace judgment, but to move faster from "interesting chaos" to something testable.

04/ What kind of roles am I looking for?

AI Growth, Product, Growth Marketing or Strategy roles where I can build systems, run experiments and turn ideas into execution. I'm especially interested in teams that move fast and actually let people ship things.

05/ What happens when things get messy?

That's usually where I show up. I map the mess, find the pattern, build the workflow and try not to name the system something unhinged. No promises.
